Weeping Willow

Fallen Asleep

Fallen asleep in the night
my soul moves speaking
to spirits in the unconscious
level

Drifting
Not remembering
Only voices leaving pieces
of themselves inside
Tucked away in my heart
their voices lay

Waking from something vacant
Hearing a voice slowly leaving me
as the night fades away
My mind fumbles
I've forgotten pieces
My soul seems to know
the language of life

Images grace my mind
Like a forgotten dream
Leaving only small traces
and pieces
Trying to fit them
To understand what
was left behind

Feeling strange all through the day
Voices still echoing inside
Like a chamber my mind vibrates
My soul feels alive with
it's own language
Hidden inside
Communicating for it's life

Drawing strength from an unknown
source in the night
Where dreams walk with life
Guiding my soul back before
light

Waking

Feeling as if I've left a piece
of my heart somewhere out there
in the universe of unspeakable
light.

Beautiful poem. Some dreams are indeed unforgettable. You have expressed the complex world of dreams so eloquently. My soul feels alive with its own language........ and it leaves us fascinated all day with that mysterious works. Thank you for sharing such lovely poem.
