Why do we fall
So much,
For Make Believe,
To Escape, our fate
Forget it all?

Idols are made,
By Make Believe,
What do they feel
As their fans
Sometimes their lives
Do maul?

I thank,
The marvelous,
Ancient Greek Genius
For creating,
Make Believe!

Theater of yesterday
Cinema of today,
And the wonderful
Actors, Directors
All participants
And makers of films
That have won my heart,
For they've saved me
So many times,
From falling apart!
When my life
Was so shredded
That I wanted not
To play in it,
Any living part.

But the magic makers
Of Make Believe,
Helped me withstand
And gave me the courage,
To again have some dreams
Giving my life,
A strong, open, new start.
