Family Failure Poem by Jessica Elizondo

Family Failure

Rating: 5.0

I envy my friends when they don't have to wake up to their mom and dad fighting. My parents fight about the stupidest of things but when they expect me to pick a side I tell them their both wrong when neither one of them will end the argument. I'ts rediculous! And it's like I'm not even there. Everytime, my parents fight one of them vows to leave or take derastic measures. Then they yell at me because they know I'm right when I try to tell them the truth. It hurts but I drown them out because I'm use to it. I just wish we could get along and not be such a failure. I wish we wern't broken.
