Fancy Words

Rating: 5.0

If, as a tenant,
I lay waste
to the land I'm renting,
I'm committing estrepement,
from the Latin for to root out.

Abounding in law and correctness
are fancy words like that.

Avoirdupois is pounds and ounces,
and kilograms and fat.

By calling legal tax avoidance
avoision,
it's brought closer to
illegal tax evasion.

If you put on distress you're a sook
and a simulator.

An avoisioner is almost a crook,
and someone on edge, on meth,
someone at the door of death.
