Fate Poem by VIRGINIA GELY

Fate

Rating: 5.0

Life is full of mystery
of unexpected encounter
meeting faces and unforgettable places,
We just couldn't understand.

Sleepness nights of a waiting heart,
Blaming fate with a cruel end,
Love untold, desires forsaken
the heart remains the same.

Could we be honest and look at life this way:

To meet, to know, to love and then to part...
Is the sad fate of many human hearts.

great poem, it reminds me of this poem from Rumi: My heart is so small it’s almost invisible. How can You place such big sorrows in it? “Look, ” He answered, “your eyes are even smaller, yet they behold the world.”
