There are family trees of fathers looking down from the skies
Sending down their blessings to children such as you and i.
They see every heartache and every teardrop that falls.
They gave you all they could to make you the person that you've
Become and are now smiling, because their work had been done.
They hear their names in your prayers and in your thoughts too
And know that they've been blessed to have a child such as you.
You are doing the same as they had done and honoring the family tree.
This is part of life, this is history.
You keep us in your memories, and you honor us with your love
And we all feel it in the heavens up above.
