Feel At Peace - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Feel at peace dear one and please
don't be sad and cry.
Come let me wrap you in my arms
and I will dry your lonely aching tears.
I can feel them from there all the way to here,
it hurts my heart to see you crying feeling
sad and all alone.
Come take my hand so I can hold you close
and dry your tears then lightly kiss your eyes
and lips to give you peace and strength filled
by my loving warmtrh.

Please feel at peace my darling one and feel
my arms wrapped around you now.
If you need just bury your face in my chest and cry
as long as you will need for I'm not leaving and
want to comfort you in every way.
When you've finished I will dry your eyes then
lightly kiss them to heal all that's there,
then a kiss upon your lips saying I love you
my precious Angel and you are my everything.
You're not alone and as long as I exist you never will be,
you are my Queen and lady I'll be here for you
every second of every day,
feel these million kisses to make things better
please feel at peace my sweet lady oh so dear.

Feel at peace and feel my strength,
I'm right there holding you and by your side
the whole way through dedicated to my only love.
I cry right along for I feel your pain,
cry on my shoulder and on my chest as long as you
need and want for I'll still be here to dry your tears.
Please feel at peace though knowing that I am here
and truly love you every day more and more.
If you need me please reach out and tell me
because I'll drop everything and everybody
for my sweet Angel I love so dearly.
Please be filled with peace my one and only
because I love you sincerely with all my heart,
soul, and being, I'm here for you through eternity.
