Feeling Lost Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Feeling Lost Love

Rating: 5.0

When lilacs bloom,
I think of you.

When Spring is new,
I think of you.

When oceans storm,
I think of you.

When days go gray,
I think of you.

All past or new,
I think of you.

When morn does light
The lonely night,
I think of you,
Yes, day and night,
The one not only
Did I love,
But so adored,
Never enough.

I think of you
And so regret
The years apart
After we met,
The many years
I did not know
That life is just
Like melting snow,
Life beautiful
When young and strong,
So full of pain
When Love's withdrawn.

I think of you
Our lives upset,
The sincere words
That weren't said
And now as night
Begins to fall
It's much too late,
We lost it all.

And yet I'll always
Think of you,
As roses think
Of morning dew
When we were young
And happy too
And this deep love
Was all we knew.

It has been nicely and touchingly inscribed the events of lost love and the memories of the past and hope for future. I quote...... And yet I'll always Think of you, As roses think Of morning dew When we were young And happy too And this deep love Was all we knew. Thanks for sharing.
