First Love Never Dies Poem by David Harris

First Love Never Dies

Rating: 5.0

Some things we lock away
at the back of our mind.
Things that will stay
there for eternity.
The things we want to cherish dear.
Never letting them escape.
One is our first love,
the love that never dies.
Times may change,
but that first love,
will always remain,
as fresh as the day, we first felt it
in that long ago.
We chain it to our memories,
and will never let it go.

Yup, especially when the person winds up living in the same state...College days, first love, you let it go and settle sometimes, but right you are, the memories are yours to keep...........thanks for another jewel....[am having trouble keeping up with you, can't make it off the first page last few minutes since I posted and came on to read]...marci.xo
