Fog In The Desert Poem by Sandra Feldman

Fog In The Desert

Here there and Everywhere,
People speak, "think"?
And rarely say the truth,
But answers are hidden
In the great Sphinx
That neither moves
Nor cares, nor thinks
Just stares,
Into Emptiness,
Where so many of us lie
Beaten, defeated
Hurt and bare
Crushed by cares
And the desert winds.
