Follow Poetic Paths Poem by Sandra Feldman

Follow Poetic Paths

Rating: 5.0

Can words
Make you melt away?
Follow paths,
Far, far away
Feel the sun-sea, paradise
Make you feel, all comfortable
And nice,
Like perfumed, summer roses,
Beauty's sheer delight.

Some poets' poetry
Has that rare effect,
That cannot be bought
That cannot be taught
But that can
Awaken, deep passion,
Be enjoyed,
Over and over again
Like a lover's kiss,
Or a deep caress,
With a love attraction
That you totally possess.

Richness of poetry captured so beautifully. A pure delight to read. This poem certainly leaves an impact.

I love a poem that I can get lost in, like A Road Not Taken. Or Kubla Kahn. If we read poetry, we find those little or long gems that stick with us forever, the ones we read again and again. Words can have a powerful effect when weaved together just right. As expected, a great penning. Most thought provoking. tfs

Yes, poetic skill is something one is born with. Its unique ability, no one can copy or imitate or steal. It awakens many others' feelings and passion, like a sensitive caress on the sensitive spot. Very inspiring indeed. hanks for sharing.

This poem carries sound advice! However, if people attack you differently by defaming you, troubling constantly through anonymous comments, asking your readers not to read you, how can you write and for whom you will write? Why you will read others who won’t read you? How can you follow poetic paths? I feel it personally....
