I've found beyond these flames, I cannot heal,
What bickering sores have freshly made to flow,
Between these words, the pain where blood congeals,
Between these wounds, the silence lovers know.
Though lost in darkness, shadows needn't fear,
For shown by night, to shadows lights appear:
You've finally found your light, my light, but I'm still here.
Sought after once, what dream has crossed me then?
A spark beyond the stars, across the sky,
What lifts these wearied eyes and disappears then,
Instilling in me stranger chemistry:
So hopes remember, passions urge to move,
And tearful mists retread in sorrow's proof-
But proved, to fade again as was the whole of love.
Through aimless fears I've passed this way alone,
No company to share my warmth or sight;
What suffocating years might overcome,
Except to die in me, by heaven's light.
What love within this sea of deadened tears?
To push beyond the depths of old despair,
And cling unto this newer hell: that I still care...

I would like to translate this poem
Breathtaking, varied imagery, David. There's an art to speaking of pain without sounding pitiful...and I'd say you're a master at it. Regards.
