held within my hands.. three items..
Green little alien.. glass shaped heart.. and a duck...
Must sound funny for what I'm bout to say..
I got it last afternoon..
from someone far away...
I carried it around.. as if I had gold.. and it was found.
Treasures that dont leave my side..
the ones I'll guard with my life..
I have a feeling.. I might just be carryin that around for the rest of my life..
its more important than money..
my keys,
my cell..
I checked my pockets just to be sure I have it..
and I'm out the door..
I was so certain.. that I was gettin over you..
and when I least expect it.. my thoughts were of you.
Golden box reopened..
I could never regret it...
everyone thinks I'm a fool..
Fool I might be.. but for love..
I'll be a fool for thee....
We ae all fools for love dear. It is in our genetic makeup as human beings. When men love us they act so silly and immature, when women love men, we do silly things that make the men sit up and take notice. There is always one in the crowd that will love us for that silliness too. This is written very eloquently and so romantic from the heart, even though you are not with him any more. But love is love. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
