Footnotes At Existential Margins Poem by Anna Polibina-Polansky

Footnotes At Existential Margins

Angels take cities aback, melting away. Angels let the civilized spirit in and close the blinds. The wind is left to blow against stony traces. The epochs comprise a sidewalk walking into the zenith. Angels whisper of vanity, wisdom and eternity. The material world is slightly bothered with renewed conceptions coming from the Lord. The significance of digestion can't be overestimated. The basis is firm, but of air, of a blowing fashion. We stand by bricky walls and wait for the verdict of droughts. The world is perfect in drafts, strokes, stitches. We are perfect if minimalized to angels. Our blunders are frequent and frightening. We wear feathers in our utmost dreams. We mean to get improved at all recent deeds and steps. We mourn, but our regrets are overlooked. Deep emotions are yet unfashionable, destroying, chaotic. By Anna Polibina-Polansky, the city of Moscow,2022.
