For A Moment Poem by DICKSON MSETI

For A Moment

Rating: 5.0

I would ask the star to shine against its will,
I would take the moment to clean the sky to shine,
I would ask the birds to sing the glory of beauty,
Other animal’s mouths would be sealed.

I would carry the time and stop the moment,
I would command hours not to stop until I finish,
I would clean the oceans for you to pass,
I would! Yes I would!

I would ask the dove to tell you,
Even if you wouldn’t listen,
I would tell my phone to shout at you,
Even if you are broken heart.

Even when that moment came,
Still I didn’t do anything,
Even next to I seated,
I didn’t say you are beautiful and I love you.
