For A Telescope Poem by Kewayne Wadley

For A Telescope

Through the telescope of her eyes
I saw something that I wanted
to be apart of but deep down
knew it could never be mine
to lose.
Through the telescope of her eyes
I saw millions & millions
of stars swirl around the constellation
of her heart.
When I told her what I saw she laughed
and asked if I was forreal.
This place I saw I know to be real.
I loaded my lips with the thought
of anticipation & watched them
blast off towards hers.
No matter how long it takes,
I too will float & swirl.
Without need for a telescope
