For Freedom Poem by Lamar Cole

For Freedom

He left her at the midnight hour.
As her tears fell upon the flower.
She would miss the smell of his hair.
And just the feel of him being there.
But sometimes young men have to go to war.
And fight for freedom until they can't fight no more.

This is a moving, little poem. Sad.
