For Friends Moved Away
That their usefulness
be felt
in another place
the good trees had to go—
almost all of them
up and moved away
but for some bits
that were left behind—
the fond memories remaining
in our hearts and minds.

Everyone leaves a bit of their heart behind as we all pass on our journey through this life. Beautiful poem.
Many times I've had to let go of people who felt called to move on. I know I'd miss them, but who am I to interfere with what and where they feel God is leading them? -Glen
