For Her.. A Promise.. Poem by Dislocated Heart

I wonder how.. I knew it all along..
It was just a matter of time,
before it gets to where it is now.
Tears flow out,
I'm standin in the sidelines,
Praying that you'll be alright.

Theres not much I can do,
I still have to move on from you.
Yet, from time to time,
I've been missing you.

Words spoken,
only allows fear to build,
A gap that leads to your heart,
fills up your eyes with tears,
and all you can say now,
is your scared.

I can't see the future,
but I can wish for better days.
Either one you choose,
I promise you,
I'll be there every step of the way.
