Will you always remember forever and forever?
Yes I replied forever and forever.
She smiled her smile and looked out to the sea.
I smiled too wondering if this is the happiest I would be.

She hummed my song while watching the setting sun.
A wave of contentment flooded through me all in one.
We walked in silence complete in tranquility.
I wished this moment would always be with me.

She put her hand to my face soft to the touch.
A need of longing rushed through me and it became too much.
I knew this was it, that this was goodbye.
She promised me everything would be ok and I wasn’t allowed to cry.

She walked toward the sun glowing free.
I whispered after her always look over me.
She turned and said will you always remember forever and forever?
Yes I replied forever and forever.
