Did I ever tell you how much you mean to me?
When we’re together I’m your locket and you’re my key.
You become a part of who I am.
You give me hope a feeling of serenity and calm.

I love you more now then any other day.
When the sun shines down you are my glowing ray.
I wondered out loud if this moment could last.
I longed and prayed that I would always remember the past.

She glided toward me like a dove in the sky.
The moment took my breath away, so surreal I was on a high.
The wind whispered secrets all through my hair.
As Twilight broke her olive skin turned a beautiful fair.

Her warm brown eyes glistened with a thousand tales.
With an instant silence her wings opened like two stunning white sails.
She reached down toward me and took my hand.
I knew I was flying when my feet left the land.

I gasped in awe as my dream broke and I saw the light.
Knowing she was always there in my mind, my heart and my sight.
