As time goes by we all seem to stand still.
Things seem to happen for a reason usually against our will.
We cannot tell which way the wind will blow.
Only that with time starting to stop we begin to slow.

A clock starts to chime and sentences its song.
Sometimes it’s for the right reasons sometimes for the wrong.
Cries will fill a home with happiness or in grief.
Time starts to take its toll and breathe a sigh of relief.

A different country, a different person time brings us together.
Our biggest desire in life is hoping it will last forever.
Ready or not time takes us one by one.
It happens so quick most believe we’re not done.

Time doesn’t realize, but it’s something we must remember.
It takes us one by one but in the end we’ll all be together forever.
