Forgotten Dream Poem by Dhiren Doley

Forgotten Dream

Rating: 5.0

The battle is just over
I was betrayed by myself and I've lost my empire
Was intoxicated with the love of a dream
My hands were hovering over the dangling fog
Of the mysterious evening
And my eyes witnessed its clear vision
The vanishing of the empire I built up
It's thousand years since then
I'm in love with an empress of nowhere
No regret, no sorrow of loss
Love is such an intoxication as the dream is,
I walk thousand miles, still longing
Sail across hundred seas, still desiring
and ready to loss another empire
In the love of my dream, the empress of nowhere.
The dream was over, a battling dream
I remember not an empire
I'm just tired enough to sleep another night!
