Formic Acid Freddie...[ A Fine Fellow (R.I.P.) ]
Some of you on PoemHunter may not have
heard of the 'late' Formic Acid Freddie a favorite
friend of mine.
He (a Carpenter Ant) was not much when it came
to being a poet, but he was a fine Carpenter Ant
and a fine friend to find.
So too, on 'PH', I've found friends, good ones, though
none, alas, could match me, Bri Edwards, for the
skills of a poet.
But some of them e.g. Ruth W., Bharati N., Asim N.,
Belle W., Kim B., Cowboy Ron, Rose Marie J-a., and
Savita T. have poetic talent and show it.
If ever there has been a comic genius poet on PH, then you Bri.
'Formic acid was first isolated from certain ants and was named after the Latin formica, meaning "ant." It is made by the action of sulfuric acid upon sodium formate, which is produced from carbon monoxide and sodium hydroxide.Jul 12,2024'
