Forsaken.
The moment you saw me
I knew you were hooked.
I knew by your sighs
and by the way you looked.
For you it was hard
I swear, I knew it from the start.
Still I wished for you to say,
thinking, with me was
where your future lay.
Scared you were
of my feelings
never could you
convey the meaning.
It was me
you wanted the most,
but when I spoke to you,
you were numb and lost.
To your friends
you used to lie,
but you could never
look me in the eye.
Overpowering desire
that you felt for me,
was there for me to see.
Now that you are taken,
It's your love for me
you have forsaken.
Far away with him you live
my love to him is what you give.
Your happiness is for what i pray
with him is where your future does lay! ! !
