A fire is blazing inside me,
while it's so calm outside.
There are things i want to do.
I want to stop the water from flowing.
I want to stop the wind from blowing.
I want my mind to stop from doing the thinking.
I want to put this world on fire
and watch everything around me burn.
Then i want to laugh, laugh aloud
because the fire now blazes outside
while it's so calm inside me.
Then i want to fall down,
never to rise again.

Wow. All your poems are so full of truth. I like your candid expression about the real nature of man. We all are like that. when the fire is within us, we just want to expel it from us on this world (the world which is a source of our own creation) . The character in your poem kind of gets relaxed when he has given off the fire to its very own source, its own originator, its own mother. You have very nicely exposed the basic nature of man i.e selfishness. An excellent work. Wow. Now u get a tenner
