Forsaken - Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Love,
why have you forsaken me
leaving me here alone
I call to you
and you do not answer
I speak to you
and you do not hear
I do not suffer in silence
for I whisper your name, Love
in the dimness of my room
constantly awaiting your reply.
