Forty Pleasant Quatrains [21 To 23] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Forty Pleasant Quatrains [21 To 23]

21. It is good not to embezzle one's cash on hand.
It is laudable to do good things and avoid bad ones.
Even by forgetting, don't join the idiots lacking honour.
Think of the ways which keep you away from them.

22. It is lovely to give others keeping in mind your income.
It is better if your inspiration is not prejudiced.
Even if it is more beneficial, don't do things you fancy
and be not oscillating in your character.

23. It is joyful to grow a garden and dig a pond for charity.
It is happy to give cow and gold to the seers.
Being not scared by evil, it is good to put away
with the gamblers and their evil trade and word.
