Four Pearls Inlaid Ornament [85-87] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Four Pearls Inlaid Ornament [85-87]

85.Even in extreme distress, don't steal the things of others.
Don't be relieved from disciplined behavior.
Don't join the group of lowly men.
Don't feel enmity towards anyone.

86.To lift your friends up, Guide them in good ways.
Be proud after beating the foes at opportune moments.
Cut short your free feeding from others.
Where there is no need of anger, restrain it.

87.Lethargy stays in them who go downwards.
Misery is sure to those who do things disliked by the wise.
Good women stay within the limits of shame.
The mighty elephant tied to a strong pillar restrains itself.
