Free India Poem by Naila Rais

Free India

Prisoned in the cage of prejudice
Broken into fragments by caste
How many lives we get to live
So, we should die in dark.

O' Almighty let my countryman awake
In the freedom of mind
In the whirlpool of devoted thoughts
To walk on path of righteousness.

Divided by the stereotypes
Drowning in the irrational thoughts
Should we need to unite?
Yes, by the hard work.

O' Almighty let our nation fly
In the hands of success
In the grace of you
To go through path of justice.
