Freedom From Love's Misery Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Freedom From Love's Misery

Wandering aimlessly into journeys of life, loving the
freedom it gives to be free of love and it's misery.

No longer being held back by a make-believe love, just
enjoying this life fully, doing whatever I please, not
ever wanting to be close to another.

Not wanting to be a slave to anyone else's pretend love,
stepping out in this lively atmosphere free as a bird,
loneliness and sorrow disappearing into the midnight air.
