Freedom To Lose Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Freedom To Lose

Dictating are the fat cats.
Pawned.
Are the mice to trap.
Gone.
Those days to leave,
Opportunities to have believe.
Up on stages are the suited crooks.
Loving every moment given to deceive.
Even animals locked in zoos,
Get fed better while they watch the fools.

People of today are made to convince,
Building walls and fences make sense.
But decisions they pick and choose,
Only takes away their own freedom to lose.
What sense gives consent to a fence.
To prevent one's own freedom to lose.
Who invented this nonsense.
Created to consent to more limits meant.

Dictating are the fat cats.
Pawned.
Are the mice to trap.
Gone.
Are the freedoms to be evil.
And the people feeding on this cheese.

Up on stages are the crooks.
Masquerading as if saints.
Doing their best to recruit,
More minds to confine to be used.

People of today are made to convince,
Building fences and walls benefits.
But once they agree to that.
They are trapped.
Like rats.
Who created this nonsense.
Invented to prevent more freedom to lose.
Even animals locked in zoos,
Have more freedom while they watch the fools.
