Friendly Harbours Poem by sylvia spencer

Friendly Harbours

Rating: 5.0

We all need somewhere to go,
when things get out of hand,
and it makes us feel a lot better,
when we hear the striking of a band.
We all need somewhere to travel,
even if it's just down the street,
because there is always, friendly harbours,
to take the weight of our feet.
We all know of moments, that have been lonely,
and kindness and laughter will never come again.
but the friendly harbours, are always open,
and it cost nothing, to help sooth the pain.
So let's go forth, and seek our harbour,
one that our ships will all pass through.
No flag will fly upon these ships,
because friendly harbours, are always there for you.
