From A Distance Poem by Manonton Dalan

From A Distance

when lives turn to memories
recollected in dull moments
bringing heartaches to ponder
through tears i do surrender
i could have done a bit better
not for trying; fear of elements

i see in a distance a sparkle
tiny hole of earth's passage
waiting for me with open arms
i have done my part, i could say
remoteness of fame tempting
they only need my soul to bring
