From Dream To Nightmare - Poem by Thomas Conner

I’m living a dream
Life goes good, then turns bad
You made my mom happy
You were the only person I could call “dad”

Then November 4th,2004
The day I believe you wanted me to find you
but I didn’t, it was mom to find you in your blood pool

two years later I accept it
and I gain love
and lose a best friend
I hope your happy watching from above

Within that second year
I lose that love
And re-gain that friendship
I hope your happy watching from above

I haven’t forgotten you
But I shall
You left us
You and my father, I will never fail
