From Romania With Love*

Wallachia, Moldavia or Transylvania
Of which you were born
Or you flow from Mt. Moldoveanu
To evolve in the Mures or Siret
Your adolescence soaked with
The sands of God that kisses
The miracle of the Black Sea
Marieta Maglas, as famous
As Timisoara, giving a new lease of life
You blend life, honey coated with caviar of love
You flourish many with a new fate
From Bessarabia to Bucharest
They walk with a glittering smile
A Philosopher, a Dentist and a Poetess
A complete package that could even
Melt Communism, without having
To drip innocent blood
I read your vivid words
Like Danube, it flows back to the Black Sea
The heart of Romanian
The place where you’d drown
All of your poems
Only to be read
As a history
When you’ve become a Legend
Marieta Maglas, save for the last
You’re in your own class
I beget your wisdom
To heal my conundrum

* Dedicated to Romanian Poetess, Marieta Maglas.

Marieta Maglas is one of the literate poets. I find her poetry touchy and inspiring. She always reads others works with interest and dedication. Sulieman, this is a fine tribute. lovely.10++

Farmers can only harvest what they grow,
God assures we only reap what we sow,
Your work my dear whether rhyme or prose,
Truly, a rose by another name is still a rose.

Another stanza but where to put it?

    Wallachia, Moldavia maybe Mt. Moldoveanu,
Or who was born where. Hey! What about you?
To evolve from a seed sewn in the Mures or Siret,
Adolescence soaked in creativity unable to forget.

The sands of God, every grain that tenderly kisses,
The snake charmer with a flute as the Cobra hisses,
Marieta Maglas, famous as the preciousness of life,
Blending honey coated with caviar of love just ripe.

You flourish many with fate & strength for the test,
A journey, Bessarabia to Bucharest, no time to rest,
A Philosopher and a Poetess with a glittering smile,
Takes a complete package to walk even 1 extra mile.

Melt Communism without having to drip innocent blood,
Your vivid words just the like Danube it flows with love,
A place where one would drown had not poems been read,
Your creations pushed me forward flowing through my head.

Writings have become true Legend saved beginning to last,
Heavenly gifted wisdom heals a conundrum, only first class,
Dedication long overdue for Romanian Poetess Marieta Maglas,
Presenting the world your words, poetic as crystal clear glass.
