From The Moment

Rating: 5.0
From the moment I met you I knew it was true,
You were my last light on earth that made the sky shine blue.
From the moment I met you I could see the hope,
You were my last friend holding me up by a rope.
From the moment I met you I felt the love,
You were my last angel smiling down from above.
From the moment I met you I knew I could survive,
You were my on flowing river keeping my dreams alive.
And the moment I lost you I broke down and cried,
For my one true beacon of hope had given up and died.
From the moment I lost you a frown prevailed,
What had happened to my angel who had never failed?
From the moment I lost you the sky turned dark,
What had happened to my light that had once lit adventure for me to embark?
From the moment I lost you there was no more hope,
What had had happened to my friend who without I couldn’t cope?
From the moment I lost you the world seemed full of hate,
What had happened to my life and why can I not escape?
