Frozen Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Frozen

Rating: 5.0

The trees in the wintry breeze
Remind me of my soul
Desolate and naked to the elements
As the lifeless can be consoled
No matter how many times my friends say
He wasn't the right one
My soul need his smile
And his pale blue eyes that shine
On a grim day
Now, everyday is a dark void
As the rain continues to pour on my spirit
It's cold and blinding
And reign on my body has frozen my movement
As I have become a statue
Wanting his kiss to set me free
