Funeral For A Friend Poem by Bill Cantrell

Funeral For A Friend

Place me on a shooting star,
oh, ashtray in the sky
With amp and axe, I'll shred the blues
A glowing kite-tail wave goodbye

May my ashes rest in peace,
and please no flowers in my name
But if my pick falls in your hands,
a piece of me remains
