Garden Poem by Ratan Ghosh

Garden

Rating: 5.0

Where the clouds float high in the sky,

Constantly trying to touch the hill

Waves from the sea washing the shoreline

Not far from there, is where my garden

A heaven on earth.

Did I  get inspiration from the cottage garden

Where you grew up as a little girl

Who  used to move around the flowers like a butterfly

Looking through the corners of her eyes

If I was paying attention to my little angel.

The beautiful garden with Dahlias, Marigold and Ginias

We used to play together hide and seek

Alas one day you hid yourself perfectly

Never to be found for years and years,

But you stayed in my heart all day and night.

Now we found each other, I know my garden

Need to blossom with flowers

Before we can dance together.

May be just holding hands and looking at the flowers

We can find our love forever.

A beautiful poem about Nature and Love. The picture of a garden between the mountains and the sea is breathtaking! The captivating imagery of playing hide and seek, and one day not finding her for a long long time - touches heart of the readers.
