Genuine Passages Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Genuine Passages

Feeling good as music tantalizes us with it's rhythms,
solidifying memories onto an interior photographic screen.

There every tone and note will be remembered that's played
by a band standing right in front of us.

Walking, strolling through life, enjoying nature, becoming
one, never veering from possibilities being brought to mind.

Genuine passages of thought going through time tunnels,
interpreting every nuance and beat as it passes by.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I've spent some time over the years studying the impact that certain types of music have in conjunction with our moods, reactions or non-reactions to everyday events in life, both the ordinary & extraordinary, and though in some individuals there can be mercurial behavior noted...however for most of us, the results are fairly simple... Music stirs memories of places & times, good and bad, and within moments, unless you are with people and strike up a discussion on your experience...the emotion that was elicited is gone.....Enjoyed this poem, Rose...And BTW: I just realized...Where in the name of Walt Witman didyou ind the time to quill out 16,00poems? ! Woooooooosh! Good on you, indeed! ~FjR~
