I love to see you smile
In the most simplistic way.
To share in moments
of my life.
Of all the gifts you could give me
I think this is the most attractive.
Not simply because you smiled
But because your smile reveals
How much you care in the moments
That now belong to the past.

Giving me something
to look forward to.
Traveling mile after mile
in the curve of your lips
The care & consideration
sharing detail after detail
of the moments of my life.
It's a much different smile than
I see out in the world.
When I see you smile,
I know that your lips were made
for moments like this
and it's a gift because of all the things
& people you could share it with,
you chose to share it with me
