桃林梅苑，如絲春雨纏綿悱惻
竹圃蘭亭，若水清風婉轉芳菲
天子門生，高卓不群瀟灑俊逸
大家閨秀，溫文爾雅素兮嬈眉

Gifted Scholar And Beautiful Lady

In the peach forest and the plum garden
the spring rain like silk
sad and sentimental

In the bamboo garden and orchid pavilion
the clear breeze like water
gentle and fragrant

Scholars admitted to the palace examination
superb excellence and natural
unrestrained and handsome

A lady of great family
plain and charming eyebrows
genial, cultured and elegant
