here alone in a room we sit.
soon lifted by this glass monolith.
I lift the bottle and begin to pour.
our dreams covered red.
we sip along the curve of desire.
this glass a fractured prism.
a release of not necessarily things
we cannot say. but an ease of tension.
one that beats in pulse and unison.
we sip finding our place in heaven
in case there is no tomorrow.
staining myself in you.
staining yourself in me.
I lift the bottle again and pour
into our glasses.
the wine swirls its way to the top.
cool to the touch.
this monolith magnetic in every way.
mingling eyes lock and wild truths
Run wild.
whatever was empty is now lifted.
