Go And Spend Yourself Poem by Walterrean Salley

Go And Spend Yourself

Rating: 5.0

Go spend yourself
While you can.
Leave your footprints
In the sand.
Precious gifts can’t be weaved
Once you are gone.
And your life is marked
With memories set in stone.
And so, when all is said,
And when all is done—
You won't leave a poem
Nor a song unsung.

Again this is another favourite of yours, it lets me think that there is more in life than waiting, I think of all the opportunities I’ve missed because of my foolishness, this helps me see I only have now. Thank you for this work

Oh i like this one. Great message. Very flowy too. Awesome choice of words. I like the first four lines the most. They really popped out to me for some reason. Thanks for writing it! : D
