Go On Poem by Ernest Makuakua

Go On

Go on it was said when crying was what I was able to do
Till I kept quiet they said sometimes in life you may not get help
So you have to learn to cry and know when to stop and find a solution
to problems start Smiling

Go on as i could not stand i fell so i would crawl
They said in order to walk you have to know how to balance
no matter how many times you fall remember to stand its normal to
Fall but a mission to Stand you will not stay on top forever so is it to fall

Go on as I kept on balancing with things and when I held on a weak product I nearly fell but balanced. They said sometimes you will balance with people but you will need to rely on your own strength so you can build others

At a breaking point of my life I thought I'm done
But God said go back to the basics learn to trust me
Do not hold my hand I will hold you
Do not be slow walk before me He said Go on

You see Go on it was said until I realized
That if I stopped and looked back and saw
I saw potholes I jumped situations I've pulled through
Even when quitting was an option
I learned that even if its hard Go on
Go
Go on my children

Go go on my love
Go on my friend
Fear not

Many mansions are awaiting us
There is enough
Only if we perservere and move foward

We wil be able to smile
Nothing comes simple we need to Go on

Even when stomuch is empty
Even when we have no promise have faith

This is a tough road called life Go on
Do not stop

Go on
