Going Into The Night Poem by Aufie Zophy

Going Into The Night

Rating: 5.0

I need to be alone for a while,
to listen to my soul for a while.

A tear knocks on the door of my heart;
I let it in; a story so sad and hard.

I search for truth and long to be strong.
Truth and strength let me wait for long.

I do not want to go into the night like this;
I pray for guidance, I pray for bliss.

The prayer helps the tear to clean a bit inside:
acceptance, love and hope help me see some light.

The tear leaves through my eye, rolls over my cheek,
it falls on the ground, is left there; I go to sleep.

What an inspiring poem, thank you dear friend! I think the ground gladly received your soulful tear, and in exchange it kindly sent the wind of sweetest dreams. And in your sleep, earth spoke with Father Sun, and the entire week, especially for you, most beautiful time they'll bring. Keep Shining!
