Good Company, Dream On Poem by Jim Norausky

Good Company, Dream On

Rating: 3.3

Oh my,

Standing on the podium

at Poemhunter's Quick Links

with Kevin Wells, Bukowski, and Poe.

Gold medal placed around bowed head.

Not 24 karat.

Not even plated.

Not even imagined in the course of day.

Like so many unreal dreams

Not even close to reality.

Only a figment of the software keeper's imagination.

Nice dream. Repeat five times to remember long term.

Wakeup then, it's time for golf.
