Goodbye - Poem by Anna Dietze

In the slight darkness of my room
I wonder what I’m doing
I see my reflection in the mirror
But it’s somehow different
I changed
What’s wrong with me?
Why can’t I be accepted for the new me?
Now that mirror lays shattered on the floor
Blood trickling down my hand
As night surrounds me
This is goodbye
To me
