I'm alone,
So so alone,
Although surrounded by plenty of company,
You still ignore my beckoned call,
As It's your fingers I long to feel press my name,
But still,
You pass by me without a second glance,
Ignoring what I have to say,
Discarding what I feel as well, as this works both ways,
You've heard my voice plenty of times,
But have you stopped to listen to what was said,
The throb of my heart in each letter, formed in each word said,
You pass me by without considering how tight your eyes close once the lament starts,
How your heart begins to race as every word penetrates what's deeply felt between you and I,
I want you,
But, you were never mine to begin with,
As I belonged to you with each thought that came to the realization,
That You were never wrong,
That inner phone blues, I sing to me and only me,
Cutting me off from the world,
Keeping me in your thought world as your ears became mine,
If only for a minute,
A tempo, kept steady,
As I remember every lick of your lips, the breaths that became easier to breathe,
Though, As Digital as it may be,
Still,
I love you, except not knowing how to accept the change of the nature of our relationship,
As you pass by me without a second, third, or shuffled thought,
Still I wait patiently,
Until you highlight my name,
And our feelings soon replay,
Soon I'll be loving you again
